Anna Frlan is an accomplished metal sculptor from Ottawa, Ontario, where she was born and raised, dreaming of a future as an artist. Frlan pursued those dreams at the University of Ottawa and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1998. Using her creative skill and keen interest in history, Frlan has been able to transform steel sections into delicate fabric-like pieces and find ways to work with the metal like it’s malleable clay.
