Welding and the Future of Mining

Mining is an industry that requires a lot of welding, both in the construction stage and also in ongoing operations. Underground structures, in particular, are always being advanced. In recent years, there have been consistently rising forecasts of the future of mining in Canada and worldwide. The main drivers have been the energy transition, largely electrical, and within that is the future of electric vehicles (EVs) and batteries for electric vehicles.
