CWA Engage - November 2013

Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) or commonly known as MIG welding is one of the most popular welding processes used in the industry because of its ability to produce high quality welds. Another plus, is that GMAW is low hydrogen, making it a great process for materials known to hydrogen cracking. With little slag and having a continuous electrode wire, which allows the process to have higher travel speeds, while post weld cleanup is less than other welding methods, MIG welding continues to improve efficiency.
