Course Overview
Welding is a key activity in the heavy industry fabrication, the construction of and maintenance of an industry complex. Project managers, engineers and field technologists should have a good grasp of the elements affecting the implementation of welding activities so the activities can be planned with a high confidence of success and the completion be cost effective.
The two-day training course provides fundamentals of welding with the following topics:
- Gas Tungsten Arc Welding
- Wire Fed Processes
- Shielded Metal Arc Welding
- Joint Design, Weld Types and Positions
- Weld Quality and Discontinuities
- Metallurgy
The course will be taught by a seasoned industry professional with proven academic capability.
