Milton, ON – April 27, 2026 - The CWB Group has launched its new Inspector Portal, a centralized digital platform designed to simplify how Visual Welding and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspectors apply for, renew, and manage their certifications.

Available through MyCWB, the Inspector Portal provides a more efficient and streamlined way for both current and prospective inspectors to manage their professional certifications online. The platform was developed in response to feedback from inspectors across the country, with a focus on improving accessibility, reducing administrative burden for inspectors, and enhancing the overall user experience.

“The Inspector Portal represents an important step forward in how we support certified professionals,” said Patrick Ho, Director, NDT Certification, CWB Group. “By bringing key certification functions into one secure and streamlined platform, we are making it easier for inspectors to apply for and manage their certifications while maintaining the rigour and integrity our certification programs are known for.”

The Inspector Portal allows users to complete a range of certification activities in one place, including submitting applications, applying for renewals and recertifications, and accessing certification documents. Inspectors can also receive automated notifications outlining next steps and upcoming renewal requirements, helping them stay on track throughout the certification process.

Additional features include secure online payments, automated reference requests and reviews, and real-time progress tracking. The portal also reduces paperwork for inspectors by replacing manual processes with a clear, digital workflow, while maintaining existing certification standards and review requirements.
