An introduction to Management Systems Standards

International Standards mean that consumers can have confidence that products they purchase are safe, reliable and of good quality.  Standards provide a framework for organizations to meet their customer’s needs, their organizational objectives, and to continually improve.  This presentation will give the audience a brief overview of the management system standards:

• ISO 9001:2015;
• ISO 14001:2015;
• ISO 45001:2018 (which supercedes OHSAS 18001);
• ISO 50001:2011; and
• ISO 3834:2015

The CWB is involved in management systems registration and this presentation will give the audience will better understanding of the standards, their intent and the registration process.  It will also provide some insight as to which management system standard would benefit your organization
