Milton, Ontario (January 17, 2022) – FABTECH Canada is a leading forum for the metal fabricating industry. It has grown into North America’s largest and most renowned event for metal-forming, fabrication, welding, and finishing. Attendees will have access to various technologies dedicated to forming and fabricating, tube and pipe, welding, thermal spray, and finishing.

Fabtech Canada is being held at the Toronto Congress Centre from June 14-16. The event offers exhibits, educational sessions, networking opportunities with industry professionals, and many takeaways for participants.

The CWB has had a busy year, with many of its business units working tirelessly to meet the evolving needs of the industry. From CWB Certification introducing a series of new initiatives, including the Sole Proprietor model geared towards single-person welding shops and offering virtual audits to our clients for cost-saving purposes, to the CWB Association celebrating its 100th anniversary, there have been several notable achievements at the CWB Group this year.

CWB Education also had a big year this year with the introduction of the new and improved CWB Learning Resources, an educational platform that encompasses proven strategies for enhanced knowledge, uptake, and retention. It is a flexible learning platform that can be adapted to existing training initiatives.

CWB Registration launched a new offering into the Energy sector ISO50001 to assist Industry in meeting their energy goals. Plus, the CWB Consulting business unit tapped into the automotive industry by rolling out the Automotive Repair Technician Program, making the CWB Group a key player in the automotive industry. Our goal as a company is to keep a pulse on the needs of the welding industry and deliver products and services that better the state of the trade, and we are committed to doing just that in 2022 as well.
