Milton, ON: This year is a special one for the CWB Association. In addition to starting the year under new leadership with Sebastian Max Ceron, the CWBA also celebrates 100 years of serving the welding industry. CWBA is honoured to pay homage to the hardworking people who came before us to ensure that the welding industry was well-represented and paved the way for our organization today.

Our 100thanniversary celebrates the advances made in our industry and its dedicated members who have inspired change in the sector. To celebrate this exciting milestone, the CWBA will host a contest where we will be giving out exciting prizes to participants every week. We look forward to celebrating the next few weeks with you all and are confident that this year will be filled with exciting new initiatives that will only aim to serve the industry further. We invite you to enter our contest at https://www.cwbgroup.org/association/100-year-anniversary for a chance to win anything from personal protective equipment, consumables and larger equipment that can change the way you do business.

“In my new role with the CWB Association, I aim to create a brand that is synonymous with welding. I’ve been a part of the steel trades for almost 30 years, from welder to educator and I want to bring these experiences to creating a strong vision for the Association.  To celebrate its 100th year of serving the industry, I would love to see the chapters act as a driving force by becoming the resource centre for anyone who wants to work within the industry. I want to create pathways for success for those starting new or new to the industry. I want to ensure that we’re around for another 100 years to help the industry thrive and prosper,” shares Ceron.

To become an Association member, please visit www.cwbgroup.org/association and gain access to the great resources available free of charge. Plus, enter the contest for a chance to win some great prizes!
