Module 36 - Fracture - Applications

This module adds to the information presented in Module 35.The reader will review such things as the major toughness tests used to evaluate base materials and welded connections, and review how post-weld heat treatment can effect fracture characteristics of a welded structure. The reader will also develop a fracture control plan for welded structures and learn how to perform simple defect evaluations using fracture mechanics.
