Module 30 - General Design Considerations for Welding

Welding as a means of joining metals has opened new horizons for the application of steels The intent of this module is to provide the reader with the elements necessary to make sound and economic welding design decisions and identify the key engineering factors. The module will also provide general guidance relating to design requirements from a variety of North American Standards and Codes.
