CWB Group’s Remote-First working model enabled us to contribute to helping our environment and positively affecting climate change by drastically reducing our company’s carbon footprint in the elimination of commuting to and from work for the majority of our employees.
The CWB Welding Foundation is a national not-for-profit registered charity, founded by the Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) in 2013. We are focused on encouraging the exploration of careers in trades and technology, using welding as a gateway skill while reducing barriers to opportunities that affect key groups; elementary, secondary, and post-secondary students, educators, Indigenous Peoples, women, and the under-represented.
CWB Welding Foundation continues to spark success through programs and investments to close the skills gap and pave the way for Canada to take a leadership position in forging our future. We continue to innovate and evolve proactively to meet industry needs.
We provide our employees with paid volunteer time to give them the opportunity to work with the CWB Welding Foundation and each year, our employees support camps, demonstrations, career fairs and school visits.
