Module 02 - Engineering Drawings, Basic Joints & Preparation for Welding

This module provides an overview of material preparation for welding and how this is detailed on engineering drawings and blue prints. The reader will have an understanding of the basic joints and weld types used for welded connections. The remainder of the module focuses on the terminology for welding, cutting and preparation of joints and describes the various methods used by fabricators and manufacturers.
