CSA A660 - 10 Auditing and Registration

Since in accordance with Part 4.3.4.3 of the National Building Code of Canada, it is specified that "Steel building systems shall be manufactured by companies certified in accordance with the requirements of CSA A660", the CSA-A660 Standard was established upon the request of Canadian Steel Building System manufacturers and serves to provide guidance to code enforcement officials during the evaluation of building permit submissions that incorporate steel building systems. This guidance ensures that purchasers acquire structures of superior quality. The standard conducts comprehensive audits across all aspects of the manufacturer's processes, encompassing engineering design methods and personnel, materials control, fabrication, warehousing, packaging, shipping, erection documentation, and the implementation of quality assurance within the manufacturing facility.
