Industry Notice

Beginning September 27th, CWB Certification will be soliciting proposals for the following lab testing services:
• Mechanical Processing and Examination of Welder Qualification Test Assemblies
• Mechanical Processing and Examination of Procedure Qualification Test Assemblies
• Digital Radiography of Welder Qualification Test Assemblies

The contract can be awarded on a regional or National basis and will have a duration of two years from approximately January 1, 2023.

Any organization interested in submitting a bid proposal for one or more of the above noted services should contact the undersigned to request a detailed contract specification and bid documents. For mechanical testing, organizations must meet the requirements of CSA W178.1 or ISO 17025 with an appropriate scope of work. For radiographic testing, organizations must meet the requirements for CSA W178.1 with an appropriate scope of work.
