 About CWB Certification:

The CWB Group certifies companies, inspection organizations, inspectors, and welding consumables through a review and qualification process to ensure that they meet the requirements for a variety of product and safety codes as well as standards such as CSA W47.1CSA W47.2CSA W55.3CSA W186CSA W178.1CSA W178.2 and CSA W48. To achieve and maintain certification, companies engaged in welding are required to have their personnel qualified for engineering, supervisory and welding and follow approved welding procedures. Similar to the welding companies, welding inspection organizations are required to have their personnel prepared for supervisory and certified for inspection, whether it’s visual, destructive or non-destructive testing.
