Forging New Opportunities- An Introduction to Welding Program

The CWB Welding Foundation is excited to launch "Women of Steel: Forging New Opportunities"-An Introduction to Welding Program (IWP) generously funded by the Government of Canada’s Skilled Trades Awareness and Readiness Program. This project consists of two components; The further expansion of its networking platform for women welders under the ‘Women of Steel’ banner, and a 30 Hour pre-employment technical skills development program, which will be delivered across Canada in 2019 in collaboration with six post-secondary institutions.
