CERTIFICATION SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE (CSR) - TALENT POOL ROSTER

We at CWB Group recognize that our employees represent our greatest assets of skills and knowledge and are committed in recruiting the best welding professionals in the industry.
It is with this in mind that we are developing a Talent Pool Roster for qualified and experienced welding professionals where we can draw from to fill future open Certification Services Representative (CSR) positions in the company.

What is the process? 

The selection process to be included in our Talent Pool Roster mirrors our recruitment process when we are recruiting for current open positions.  You will be required to submit your resume with the reference CSR ROSTER in your e-mail subject and with your location of choice. Selected candidates will be interviewed, screened by HR, Hiring Managers and will undergo various assessments and reference checks.  Once you pass all the screening stages your name will be included in our Talent Pool Roster.  Once a CSR opening becomes available in your area, individuals in our Roster will be considered first for the open position.

Position Requirements:

The Certification Services Representative is responsible to certify and maintain welding certification programs for new and existing clients and to promote other CWB related service lines.  This includes auditing of companies, procedure testing, welder testing, visiting job sites, liaising with building inspectors, engineers, and current and prospective clients.

This position reports to the Regional Manager of the specified area and will work out of their home office, servicing our clients in various Canadian region.

The following qualifications are required:

• Minimum 5 years hands on experience in the Welding Fabrication and Inspection industry, or as a Welding Educator
• Technical background and knowledge of the welding and joining industry
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Proficient with Computers and Microsoft Office Suite
• A valid driver’s license and own vehicle
• Must be able to travel within assigned territory and be in possession of appropriate travel documents as needed (e.g. passport)

The following qualifications are considered assets:

• CSA 178.2 Level 1 or 2 Inspectors Qualifications.
• CWB Welding Supervisor Qualification or prior Supervisory/Managerial experience
• Professional Engineer or Welding Technician/Technologist Diploma or Degree
• Experience in theoretical and/or practical welder training
• Prior experience working in a QA/QC environment
• Prior experience auditing existing Quality Management Systems
